Description

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team.

The Quality Control Inspector performs in-process and final inspection of assemblies and sub-assemblies manufactured by Jahabow.

Jahabow is a leading designer and fabricator of commercial-grade retail display cases and millwork/décor. Associates work directly with leading retailers like Sam's Club, Academy, Kohl's, and Walmart to create shopping experiences seen every day. Responsibilities
  • Ensures manufactured products conform to customer's expectations & requirements
  • Performs inspections, checks, & tests for quality control in the manufacturing of products, including:
    • In-coming materials used in production
    • Manufactured assemblies & sub-assemblies
Education
  • High School education or equivalent
  • Junior College or Associate degree
    • Preferable fields of study:
      • Mathematics
      • Science
      • Communications
      • Pre-Engineering
  • Also Acceptable:
    • Technical School
      • Emphasis on Manufacturing/Mechanical Trade
Experience
  • 0-3 Years of Experience
Qualifications
  • Ability to work & communicate in:
    • Professional manner
    • In a manufacturing environment
    • Across multiple departments and areas
  • Ability to read & interpret drawings and test instructions
  • Ability to use & understand various gages during inspections
  • Ability to track and progress with several projects
  • Experience with Q/C tools, including:
    • Calipers
    • Pin Gages
    • Measuring Equipment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Competent in Digital Picture Manipulation
  • Knowledge of commonly used practices & procedures
Skills
  • Well-organized
  • Keen eye for visual details & defect detection
  • Relies on limited experience & judgment to perform job
  • Ability to exercise interdependent judgment
