Description

We are seeking to hire an Inventory Control Manager for our team.

The Inventory Control Manager leads our team of cycle counters, receivers and material handlers in inventory movement, collecting and reviewing inventory levels through cycle count process and production transactions.

Jahabow is a leading designer and fabricator of commercial-grade retail display cases and millwork/décor. Responsibilities
Team Leadership
  • Manages & mentors team of cycle counters & material handlers
  • Fosters a collaborative & positive work environment.
Project Management
  • Oversees inventory control, material handling & receiving projects from concept to completion
  • Ensures guidelines are met as outlined by management
  • Completes internal & external audit requests
Process Management
  • Initiates & leads team in execution of random cycle counts
  • Updates counts in the ERP system
  • Monitors inventory movement transactions to ensure accuracy
  • Audits output data and resolution of errors
  • Ensures compliance of all inventory guidelines with established internal control procedures
Process Improvement
  • Identifies & implements process improvements to enhance efficiency & productivity
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Works closely with departments to ensure inventory transaction processes are followed to align with company goals
Documentation
  • Maintains accurate records of cycle counts, receipts, & inventory adjustment transactions
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related curriculum

Or

  • Equivalent combination of education & experience sufficient to successfully perform the job's essential functions
Experience
  • 5+ years progressive experience
Qualifications
  • Strong background in inventory & receiving processes
    • Particularly cycle counts using A/B/C methodology
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software
    • Excel
    • Word
    • Outlook
  • Experience with ERO Systems
    • Syteline experience a plus
